Security Testing of CCC Digital Key implementations

• The CCC Digital Key is the industry standard by the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) that lets you lock and unlock your car with your phone, communicating over NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Ultra-Wideband (UWB), with the goal of replacing physical key fobs.
• We want to test CCC Digital Key implementations for security and compliance. We focus on the wireless communication between phone and car, over NFC, BLE, and UWB. Our tests run on a stationary vehicle only. The tests DO NOT require any driving. They DO NOT require access to hidden hardware inside the vehicle. They DO NOT cause any damage to the vehicle.
